How Nuki Is Doing
Nuki continues to bleed daily, however I do see some signs of improvement. Her biggest bleeds continue to be in the morning and they are relatively brief. She "drips" some throughout the day - a drop here and there. In the evening, she has the second biggest bleed of the day and it too is shorter than it has been. She is sneezing less. Her gums appear less pale. She has more energy. I've reduced the dosage of her pain medication (Tramadol). She has developed no other symptoms. If she remains stable or improves, her vets will run a CBC in a month. They want to see if her hematocrit level increases as a way of checking the severity of the ongoing bleeding. In the meantime, I am continuing to advocate for her and raise money to pay her bills.
